Inside: Easy Christmas gifts made by kids that can be done in the classroom or at home. Perfect for parents, grandparents, and any special person!

Every December our preschoolers make Christmas gifts for their families.

When thinking about kid made Christmas gifts, we want them to be something that will either be a keepsake item, or something that the receiver will enjoy using now.

When I did a search on Pinterest for kid made gifts, many that I found were too complicated for little hands.

As I searched deeper, I found a collection of easy Christmas gifts made by kids … that are appropriate for this age group.

Yes, they do need adult assistance, but they all allow the children to add their touches as well. The more the child can do, the better. (This is easier for older preschoolers, of  course.)

First, let me share some ornaments our children have made through the years:

Alphabet Ornament – I hang these on the gift bags the children wrap their ornaments in. (FREE printable!)

Wood Photo Ornament – A little paint, some glue, and a photo make this ornament a keepsake.

Glitter Ornament – If you don’t mind a little (or a lot?) of glitter, these are fun to make! (Or you can eliminate the glitter and just paint.)

Fillable Keepsake Ornament – Add small pieces plus a photo.

Handprint Ornament – Another fillable ornament idea, but this one also includes the child’s handprint on the outside.

Make sure to wrap your child’s gift in a handmade gift bag!
