The first two weeks in January we introduce winter while learning about snow and ice. (You can see our ideas on this page.)

The second two weeks of January focus on hibernation and winter bears. We will also continue learning about cold weather and winter  clothing.

This page shows some ideas that I will be considering when planning our circle times and centers time. Please note that we will not be doing all of this in our classroom, but I wanted to give you a variety of ideas. Also, some of the activities might be more suitable for older preschoolers, so take that into consideration when selecting ideas.
