Inside: Use these free Christmas printable templates for holiday arts and crafts activities, and for color pages, too!
The holidays are here and you are feeling the pressure to put together some fun activities.
I don’t know about you, but I love when I can save a few steps while creating ideas.
Let’s face it: December is a busy time of the year, both in the classroom and at home!
I’ve decided to put together one page that includes all the Christmas printable templates we have used over the years.
Make sure to check back as I will be adding more!
Christmas Printable Templates for Kids
Gingerbread Man Template
We’ve used the gingerbread template while making our golf-ball painted banner.
You could also make several copies of them on brown paper to hide around the room. Add some indoor large motor, inviting your children to go on a hunt to find them!

Star Template
We’ve created star suncatchers using the star template.
They could also be used at the art table with yellow paint (and even glitter!).
Collect small yellow pieces – such as fabric, paper, ribbon and buttons – to glue on the star. Add a hole at the top and hang from the tree!
Bell Template
For a quick Christmas craft, print and cut out the bell shape from paper and paint!
Try placing it in a container along with jingle bells that have been dipped in paint. Gently tilt the container back and forth to cover the bell with yellow tracks.
Place the bell shapes at the writing table along with markers and stickers for some fine motor fun!
Christmas Tree Template
Work on color mixing while painting the tree with yellow and blue paint. What color does it make?
Squeeze green watercolors on top of the trees using droppers.
Create a collage of different green pieces on top of the tree.
Candy Cane Template
We used this template while painting with jingle bells.
You could also use it for some fun red and white patterning!
Christmas Stocking Template
This would be another nice activity for the writing table.
Provide a variety of markers. Alphabet stamps would be a fun addition. How about stamping the child’s name on top?
Angel Template
Invite your toddlers and preschoolers to paint their angels desired colors.
Add some extra fine motor by painting with Q-Tips rather than paintbrushes!
