Winter is such a fun time for themed activities.

From all the tinsel to the twinkly lights- the glitter sticks around on the furniture until just about Easter! So worth it.

The only downside of winter is that we don’t get to spend as much time outdoors due to how cold it gets here.

It’s very important that we keep lots of indoor activities ready to keep our toddlers busy.

These 15 toddler winter activities are great for strengthening fine motor skills in little hands while maintaining the fun and magical winter theme.

15 Winter Fine Motor Activities

Yarn Wrapped Trees – Strengthen small hands by wrapping yarn around triangle tree shapes.

Tissue Paper Snowflakes – Use pipettes to drip watercolors onto snowflakes, adding in glitter for extra decoration.

Icicle Scissor Skills – Practice cutting skills by drawing icicle points on paper and having preschoolers cut them out. (Theo Toolbox)
