Easter Ideas for Kids

I love this time of year, with so many colorful Easter ideas for kids!

I especially love the activities that don’t require a whole lot of materials. Even better when you can recycle.

White paper lunch sacks.

Plastic Easter eggs.

Paint and salt.

While I love to try new Easter ideas each year, I seem to gravitate towards the favorites I am going to share with you today.

Oh, and make to sure to scroll down to find over 300 other Easter ideas for kids!

Easter Bunny Art

Easter Art

Yes, this activity looks like a craft, but I’ve made sure that there is process art involved. Truly, what the preschoolers loved most was applying the 2-ingredient fluff paint on the bunnies!

Painting with Plastic Eggs

Easter Art for Toddlers
Do you have a stash of plastic Easter eggs? Let your children stamp with them! This is perfect for toddlers, but preschoolers love it, too.

Watercolor Easter Bags

Easy Kids Easter Bags
These Easter bags are a tradition in our preschool classroom! The children love painting them and then we use them for our Easter egg hunt.

 Colorful Easter Drip Painting

We love drip art year round! But for this Easter art activity, we cut the paper into ovals and added salt to the paint.

Color-matching Easter Sensory Bin:

fine motor activity for spring

I love adding different textures to our sensory bins! I included pom poms that matched the colored plastic eggs for some fun color recognition.
