Inside: This collection includes 13 preschool Earth Day activities that are full of hands-on color mixing and exploration!

Talking about the world around us happens throughout the school year. However, we have an actual earth day theme in April, right around the time of the actual Earth Day, which is on April 22nd.

This collection of hands-on activities invite young children to think about earth and how we can take good care of it. There’s a little bit of everything in this collection, including sensory, art, fine motor, cooking, and outdoor exploration.

13 Preschool Earth Day Activities that are Fun

Fun Fact: Earth Day began on April 22, 1970. Every year since then, this date has been used to think about how we can keep our environment healthy.

Scavenger Hunt – Download the free printable and use it while taking the children on a nature walk.
