We have a variety of sizes from teeny tiny ones (not for toddlers or those who still put things into their mouths) to jumbo bells that barely fit in the palm of small hands. I thought I’d share a few ways we use jingle bells with our fine motor activities.

How to Strengthen Fine Motor Skills with Jingle Bells
I confess that I have a love for jingle bells. Perhaps it’s from my childhood love for Christmas. Here are my favorite jingle bell activities that also strengthen fine motor skills.
Using large jingle bells:
Large jingle bells are fun to hold in the palms of the hands. Fingers have to wrap around them to stay in place. They are also our safest choice with our 2 year olds.
Smaller jingle bells:
We love using smaller jingle bells with magnets on our science shelf.
