Inside: These are our favorite colorful turkey crafts for preschoolers that focus on thankfulness. Printable included!
As we get closer to Thanksgiving in our preschool classroom, we add some thankfulness activities to our curriculum.
We read books about what being thankful means, we sing songs, and we make a thankful craft at the art table.
Every year I change it up a bit, so I decided it would be fun to share 3 of our turkey crafts for preschoolers.
Each of these turkeys shows what our preschoolers are thankful for. They are then displayed at our Thanksgiving feast for all our families to see.

Add some simple counting to your turkey craft with this thankful turkey craft. Draw a simple number line and use it to help count out 5 sticks that are added to the turkey.
Watercolor Thankful Turkeys
Mix watercolors on coffee filters to make a colorful thankful turkey craft. We used pipettes to add more of a fine motor challenge.
Colorful Thankful Turkey that Works on Size Discrimination
Work on size discrimination while sorting 3 different-sized circles to make a bright thankful turkey. After sorting the circles by size, they are glued onto the paper along with the rest of the features.
