As the weather gets nicer, we love spray painting with watercolors outdoors. Using a spray bottle is a great way to build those fine motor skills. Those small hands and fingers must be able to wrap around the top of the bottle while also squeezing to release the liquid. You don’t even need to add paint, as water alone is a fun activity. However, we wanted to create something on paper to take home, so we added watercolors.
