Inside: This leaves count and clip activity is a fun way to work on math skills during the fall theme!

Fall is a beautiful time to take a walk and look all the beautiful colors, especially in the trees.

We’ve created a leaves count and clip activity that you can add to your fall theme.

After collecting and observing the colors of leaves, provide this math activity during centers time or small groups, or at the kitchen table in your home.

We love adding a leaf theme to our preschool classroom in the fall.

Fall Leaves Count and Clip Printable Cards

These counting cards are a fun and easy way to add counting to your fall theme.

Not only can they be used in the preschool classroom, but they’d also be fun at home during some quiet time.

These would also make a great busy bag activity for when you are on the go!

What you will need:

  • Leaves count and clip printable cards (scroll down to find link to free download)
  • One clothespin per card

Note: There are 2 versions of this printable – a color version and a black/white version.

Directions:

For best results copy the activity onto heavy paper (card stock) or laminate. This gives it more durability, especially if you are using it in a classroom setting.
