We use tweezers a lot in our preschool to build fine motor skills. During the fall, one of our favorite fine motor activities is tweezing dried corn. Have you ever tried this? It takes great concentration to focus on tweezing one kernel from the cob. Some kernels release easier than others. This can be a great tray activity for one child for a few children. Once those kernels are released, you can find more activities to use the loose kernels!
