Inside: Preschool show and tell is a very important and exciting part of our routine, plus it’s a great way to work on communication skills!
Preschool show and tell is a favorite with our 3 and 4 year olds.
When they find the empty sharing box in their cubbies, they get so excited!
They return the next school day with the box filled with 3 items that they chose to show their friends.
When we gather for circle time and ask who brought the sharing box, that child just beams.

What They Bring
How They Share
One Touch
One of the items is chosen and the sharing person walks around the circle, stopping in front of each preschooler who can then give it “one touch”.
Once each child gets one touch, the items go into the sharing person’s cubby to take home.
And then we move on to another student the following week.
It really is as simple as that!
