Younger Preschoolers
For children who are just beginning to recognize their letters, you will want to make two copies of the fish alphabet matching cards.
With the first set, cut on the outer dotted lines (not the center line) so that you have individual cards that show both the upper and lower case letter.

With the second set, do the same thing and also cut the dotted center line. (So that the upper and lower case are separate cards.)
You can also keep an entire page intact and put the matching cards in a container.
Older Preschoolers
For those that can already recognize upper and lowercase letters, only make a copy of 1 set.
Cut on all of the dotted lines so that you have 2 cards for each letter, one being upper case and the other lower.
Place the cards in a container and invite your preschoolers to match them.

Note: When just starting this activity, don’t put the entire set out. Pick and choose which letters to use at one time.
