Christmas Ornament Counting Cards 1-10

These ornament counting cards are a fun way to practice simple counting skills as well as number recognition.

Add them to your math activities during the Christmas season!

Matching Activity

Make 2 copies.

• Keep 1 whole and separate the other set.
• Place the whole set (3 pages) on the table.
• Then, put the separated cards in a stack beside the whole pages.
• As you pull a card from the stack, place it on top of the matching number.

From 1 to 10

• For older preschoolers, make 1 copy and separate the cards.
• Shuffle the cards and then spread them out on the table so they are in numerical order.

Memory Game

• Make 2 copies and separate all of the cards.
• Place them face down.
• Pick up one card and then see if you can get a match when you pick up the second card.
• When you get a match, place those cards in a stack to the side so they are not part of the main group, just as. you would with any memory game.
