One of our fall themes is leaves, squirrels and acorns.
We love learning about squirrels because we see them all around our preschool’s play yard and the building. Since the children have noticed the squirrels carrying acorns, we’ve had several discussions about where they are going.
Squirrel and Acorn Printable Color Pages
A fun extension to this theme is adding squirrel and acorn color sheets to our activities.
Some suggestions:
Writing Table
Provide markers, crayons, or colored pencils.
Easel
Provide watercolors or tempera paint.
Art Table
Invite the children to paint these with tempera paint or watercolors.
You can also place these color sheets into box lids and paint the paper using marbles or golf balls.
