I am always on the look-out for simple art for our toddlers, since (for most of them), this is their first experience with art. If you’ve read some of my other toddler art posts, such as this one, you will see how we set up the art table so that it’s more inviting for this age group. We want them to feel comfortable with various tools and materials. As they get closer to 3, their creativity is blossoming and they are showing us how they want to add even more to their work.

I love the internet for finding new toddler activities! I am thankful to have blogging friends who come up with wonderful activities for this age group. I post many of them on my Pinterest board as an easy reference when I am planning our curriculum. Here are some favorites that I have collected, as well as a few of my own, that I know toddlers will love.
Painting with Paper Towels (Happy Hooligans)
Printing with Cardboard Tube Shapes (The Imagination Tree)
Mess-Free Car Painting (Toddler Approved)
Bubble Wrap Finger Painting (Childhood 101)
Painting with Water (Hands On As We Grow)
Painting with Chalk and Water (Kids Activities Blog)
