The last week of February and the first week of March include lots of rainbow activities. This theme is a fun way to work on color recognition skills through playful learning ideas.

- Sorting Items By Color – Use these with objects that are the same color. Invite your children to sort the objects and place them on the. matching colors. (Freebie) (Freebie)
Circle Time
- Lego Brick Matching – Have the labeled set in the middle of the circle and give each child one of the non-labeled colored bricks. Have each child place their brick on top of or underneath the matching colored brick that is in the middle of the circle. (From our Rainbow Props Packet.)
- Crayon Color Matching – Have the labeled set in the middle of the circle and give each child one of the non-labeled crayons. Have each child place their crayon on top of or underneath the matching colored crayon that is in the middle of the circle. (From our Rainbow Props Packet.)
