Add some simple counting during the summer season with this fun sun counting printable!
For younger preschoolers, start with cards 1-5 and add more as they are ready.
Directions:
For best results copy the activity onto heavy paper (card stock) or laminate. This gives it more durability, especially if you are using it in a classroom setting.
Cut the sun counting cards apart as well as the small number pieces.
How to play:
Invite your preschoolers to count the rays on each sun and find the correct number piece to place in the square underneath.
For older preschoolers who can write their numbers:
Laminate the cards and rather than use a number card, write the number in the square underneath each sun.
