Favorite Breakfasts for Kids

Recently I asked my Facebook readers what their favorite breakfasts for kids were. I loved all the varieties of food that were mentioned, from many parts of the world!  Breakfast is so important for young children. It is the fuel to help them have a good start to their day. As a teacher, I can usually tell when a child  doesn’t eat much for breakfast. It’s hard for them to concentrate and they are irritable. (You can read more about the importance of breakfast here.) However, I also know that it can be a challenge to get them to want to eat a healthy meal first thing in the morning, especially if you have to be somewhere. I searched for recipes that are healthy and tasty. Some can even be made in advance, making a rushed morning a bit easier.
