When one of my neighboring teachers added new interior ideas to her classroom, I was immediately in love with the transformation. She and I have visited several Reggio Emilia-influenced schools and took an online class from Fairy Dust Teaching. During this class, we had the opportunity to explore various classroom interiors that paid close attention to detail, using natural materials in warm earth tones. We started swapping primary colors and plastic furniture for soft, natural colors and furniture made from wood. We were hooked! While she transformed her classroom, I took notes and then changed our classroom as well. Let’s take a look at the details Susan added to her classroom.

Looks Waldorf inspired. Great job!
Thank you!
Hi Sheryl, thank you so much for your most excellent blog! I will find out on Friday if I will be getting a new job teaching 2’s/3’s and I’ve been out of the loop for quite awhile. I can’t wait to go through your stuff on here.
