Inside: This collection of sensory table activities has ideas for every season of the year, plus those that can be enjoyed year round. Hands-on fun for toddlers and preschoolers!
The sensory table is a favorite with our toddlers and preschoolers, and for good reasons.
Each sensory table activity we provide encourages our children to explore using multiple senses.
They get to touch different textures, move the pieces around, dump and pour, stack, measure, be creative, and use their imaginations.
The sensory table is also a great way to strengthen fine motor skills!
Since we use our sensory table daily during our free choice centers time, I’ve been able to put together this collection of ideas that can be used year-round, including seasonal and holiday activities.
